Matthew 13 says that "Jesus told the crowds all these things in parables. Without a parable, he told them nothing." There's about 40 of them in the Gospels. Matthew, Mark and Luke is where they're recorded, and another 20 of what might be called mini parables or parabolic sayings. They're designed to get the truth available to everyone. The idea of the parable is that Jesus would take an occurrence from everyday life, something that everybody was familiar with, and throw it alongside a truth about the kingdom of God so that everybody could learn the truth about God and his kingdom. Join us as we see Chritianity Illustrated through the parables of Jesus.

Pastor Shawn Amy, along with our worship team and band,leads worship as we celebrate Jesus Christ each weekend. We are a casual, friendly church and we welcome newcomers! 

 

 

Nursery (0 - 2 years) and Children's Classes (up through 5th grade) are available during all of our Worship Celebrations. More information
